I am really pleased to announce my association with Helga’s as their Nutritionist for the launch of their Lower Carb range. As such, the below product review is a sponsored post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Product Name: Helga’s Lower Carb Grain Loaf

Where does it come from: Major food company Goodman Fielder

Nutritionals: 195cal / 9.7g protein / 20g total carbs & a massive 3.6g polyunsaturated fats per 2 slices

Pros: Significantly lower carb levels than most large bread slices whilst retaining the soft bread taste and texture, no preservatives, high levels of essential fats

Cons: Cannot get in gluten free, yet

Rating: 4.5 stars. One of the strongest breads nutritionally on the market

Tips:  Swap your kids to grain bread, it is one of the best things you can do for their nutrition long term
