Where does it come from: Made by Aussie company Peppercorn Food Company who are based in Sydney and made from 100% Australian beef. Found in Woolworths stores and leading independent supermarkets.
Nutritionals: 10g protein and 5.8g fat per sausages (less than 2.2g saturated fat), gluten free and no artificial flavours or colours.
Pros: Lower fat, lean snags the kids love and that taste great. You can have dinner ready in 10 minutes with these babies. They also use biodegradable and compostable packaging for all their trays.
Cons: Due to the lower fat content than most sausages, they sometimes break up a little when cooking though to avoid, cook on a lower heat for a longer period of time and do not prick the skins.
Rating: 4 stars. It will be hard to find better snags nutritionally than these
