Nutritionals per serve (2 slices): 646kJ (154cal), 5.5g protein, 3.8g fat, 21.9g carbs, 2.5g sugars, 4.5g fibre, 183mg sodium.

Ingredients: Wholegrains (82%); Wholewheat flour, Seeds (5%) (Linseed, Sesame), Malt Extract (From Barley), Vegetable Oil, Yeast, Soybeans, Sugar, Salt, Wheatmeal.

Pros: A lower calorie option than bread; great taste, good source of plant omega 3′s.

Cons: They taste so good, who can stick to just 2, which means the lower calorie purpose is defeated. Do contain added salt and sugar albeit in small amounts.

Rating: 3 1/2 stars.

Tips: If you can stick to just 2, a couple of these crackers topped with fish, cottage cheese, avocado or goat’s cheese are a great accompaniment to salads and soup for lunch
