Getting the right nutritional balance at lunchtime can be challenging. Typical food court meal options come in at 600-800 calories per serve, and often lack the good quality protein and salad / vege bulk to be considered a calorie controlled, nutritionally balanced lunch choice. Soup can be a fantastic choice but again it can be tough to know which are good options. Lucky one of my favourite food court outlets, Top Juice has come to the party this Winter. Now offering soups, including this delicious Kale & Lentil soup, not only is it low in calories but it will not blow out your lunchtime budget. With just 65 calories, 5g of protein and just 8.3g carbs I add leftover meat to mine for a nutritionally balanced filling lunch option. And if you have not done so already, you must check out Top Juice, they have great salad, smoothie and vege juice options at reasonable prices.
